Sleeping with the Girls: Volume II, Chapter 24

After the events of the fight, the group returns to Mako's apartment to recuperate, only to discover the toll was far greater than anyone thought...

Sometimes, When you go to far, when you've burned your bridges, covered your tracks, and tried your best... Sometimes the old options go away. There is no retreat, no turning back. You've reached the Event Horizon.

  1. Usagi is adorable, yet scary. I approve.

Also, small note by way of Japanese culture and cultural associations.

Sun Tzu's "Art of War" is a Chinese text. The Japanese already have their classic set of aphorisms on warfare, the Thirty-Six Stratagems (for which you can google). Well, okay, they're originally Chinese aphorisms on war and conflict, rooted in Sun Tzu's work, but it seems probably that Usagi would think of The Thirty-Six Stratagems first, as the Japanese think of it as a Japanese text.

The Nine Principles of War are more straightforward and less poetic, more concrete and less abstract. The self-insert character might bring those up when Sun Tzu is mentioned. I do not presume to know whether your military background is enlisted, noncom, or officer, but at least at the officer-training, officer-candidate level, you hear MOOSE MUSS a lot. Here:

  3. Hi there,

Just trying to get hold of you to ask a few questions about the mechanics of your "sliding". I've already tried you on Facebook, but I haven't had a response back yet, so I thought I'd try here.
